Drumtochty Forest is a coniferous woodland in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.〔United Kingdom Ordnance Survey Map Landranger 45, Stonehaven and Banchory, Scale: 1:50,000〕 In earlier times this forest was associated with Drumtochty Castle. Other notable buildings in this part of Aberdeenshire include Fasque House, Fetteresso Castle and Muchalls Castle. The Drumtochy Forest is in a relatively secluded area, where the railway was not able to pass through.
